Lip Blush is a lip tattoo.

I offer a range of different techniques within the world of Lip Blush. I use different shading & ombré (two tone) techniques to deliver your desired outcome.

Lip Blush is a minimal invasive procedure whereby your choice of colour is tattooed on to the lip for a long-lasting & beautiful outcome.

Lip Blush is suitable for all ages from 18-80+ & is the new trend to rejuvenate your lips without injecting filler.

Lip Blush can balance asymmetry, add volume, make your lips look healthier & revitalise your look!

Microblading is the most natural looking form of permanent make-up, whereby hair strokes are implanted into the skin. I use a powerful topical numbing cream, so the pain is minimal. Microblading is best suited for people with dry or normal skin. I recommend a top up between 12-18 months, but Microblading can last for in excess of 2 years.

This treatment is ideal for those that suffer with thin eyebrows, hair loss, or over plucked brows, plus those who want to enhance & perfect the shape of their brows.

Hair strokes are created by using a hand held tool for ultimate precision, & to create a look specifically designed to your face shape & desired outcome.

Combination brows is the perfect mix of natural hair strokes & shading. Combination brows are best suited to people with dry, normal & combination skin. I use a powerful topical numbing cream, so the pain is minimal. I recommend a top between 12-18 months, but Combination brows can last for in excess of 2 years.

This treatment is ideal for those that suffer with thin eyebrows, hair loss, or over plucked brows, plus those who want to enhance & perfect the shape of their brows.

Hair strokes are created by using a hand held tool for ultimate precision, & to create a look specifically designed to your face shape & desired outcome. To create the shading, I use a soft shadowing needle to blend the strokes into a realistic, pencil-like filled brow.

Powder / Ombré brows is a ‘make-up effect’ finish, & lasts the longest of all brows techniques.  Powder brows are best suited for people with oily  or mature skin. I use a powerful topical numbing cream, so the pain is minimal. I recommend a top between 18-24 months, but Powder brows can last for in excess of 3 years.

This treatment is ideal for those that suffer with thin eyebrows, hair loss, or over plucked brows, plus those who want to enhance & perfect the shape of their brows.

To create Powder brows, I use a professional & precise PMU machine to fill in any gaps under your natural brow hairs, this is done after we’ve decided on your desired brow shape. This technique can be as soft or bold as you like.

I've had every treatment that I offer, & I would have them all again in a heartbeat. I apply numbing cream at least 15 mins before we begin any application, & I also top up the numbing cream throughout the appointment, so my clients stay as comfortable as possible throughout their visit. You will probably go home a bit numb too!

If you've had lip filler, I'd say that hurts much more than anything I offer! The treatments I offer all feel a bit like a scratching sensation to me & feel slightly uncomfortable but I wouldn't say painful. I'd personally rate the discomfort levels at 5 out of 10.

I work weekdays & Saturday mornings. I have various appointment times throughout the week & a morning slot on Saturdays. Check out the 'book an appointment' page for my updated availability. I offer evening appointments too, however these tend to book up first, so you might need to book a bit in advance for these. If applied by a highly skilled PMU Artist, & your lip sare properly cared for, Lip Blush can last in excess of 2 years.

In the UK, Lip Blush & Eyebrow treatment prices range from approx £200 - £450. This depends on your location & other factors such as the Artisits overheads, level of skill & more.

The total cost for Lip Blush & Eyebrow Transformation treatments with Emily at Nixie Permanent Cosmetics is £350.

I offer split payments for my clients, whereby you pay either £25 or £50 deposit depending on which service you've chosen, you pay £245 on your Application appointment, & you pay £50 on your Top Up. I offer this service for convenience & ease.

The process is split over 2 appointments for your complete lip transformation, & over 1 appointment for your top up.

Your application consists of completing consent forms, mapping out your new brows or lips, choosing your desired colour & the application itself. You will also receive your complimentary aftercare pack, & we will thoroughly discuss your responsibilities for aftercare, so you get the best results from your treatment. We would use your deposit to reduce the cost of this appointment.

Your Top Up will take place approx 6 weeks after your initial Application. This is to ensure the area has healed fully. Your Top Up consists of discussing the healed results & touching up any areas in which we feel require it. This appointment will cost £50.

By following the aftercare instructions that I provide to you on your Application appointment. Aftercare is so important & will be the make or break of your new lip tattoo. Your body needs time to heal, without proper healing, your results won't be as good (been there, done that!)

You're welcome to bring a companion to your Consultation appointment, but unfortunately, you must attend your permanent make up appointment alone. Also, due to insurance reasons, under 18's are not permitted in my clinic at any time.
